Hello! Today I have the new Hedgehog Hollow October Kit to share with you. This Kit is filled with stamps, stencils, papers, and a white rubber background stamp! The theme is Medical Heroes and it is fabulous.
First I stamped that yummy background stamp with a light gray ink (Fog…my favorite!), then I stenciled the rainbow stethoscope stencil over the top using neon inks from Maker Forte. I love that you can still see the stamped designed behind those inks.
I used some Metallix gel on the stethoscope and added some glitter while it was still wet. Some Limewired gems added even more sparkle to the card.
I also have to shout out to The Rabbit Hole Designs for their new mini blending brushes…I could ink on the rainbow arcs without having to mask off the other arcs! I have a feeling I’m going to use these a lot.
I’m often asked what supplies I use to make my cards and projects, so I’ve put together a list using affiliate links when possible. If you make a purchase with these links I may receive a small commission. These help me to keep up with blog costs and continue bringing you fun projects. Thank you so much for your support!
Hello! Today I have a video sharing my favorite Halloween ink Color Combos. I have the most amazing Halloween Mandala stencil from Miss Ink Stamps and I will create 3 easy cards!
Take a look at the detail on this Halloween Mandala stencil! So beautiful. For this card I used some purple and black Distress Oxide inks.
I heat embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder (3 times) to create a metallic looking embellishment. Then just a few silver sequins finished off this card.
I watercolored the cat for this card (using a blue undertone). Watch the video to see the watercoloring tips!
I used 2 sentiments stacked together to finish this card.
The large “Spooky” sentiment is perfect to fill up a card front. Just add a few ghosts with foam tape to complete this one!

Hello! Today I have a video sharing some stencils I found that I use over and over again. I love these spotlight stencils and it’s such a bonus when they can be used for SO MANY types of cards.
The beautiful thing about this spotlight stencil, is there are many designs that are INTERCHANGEABLE! So you get all kinds of different looks, and they are so easy to create.
For this butterfly card, I used Kaleidoscope Powder in the background to get a glow and shine! I love the look on dark cardstock. (I show you how to do this in the video)
This card turned out to be one of my favorites and it was super simple! I added a heat-foiled sentiment to finish it off.
Be sure to check out the video to see it all! And TODAY there is a SALE on these products and more…check it out HERE.

Welcome to the Heffy Doodle, Maker Forte, and SugarPea Designs Collaboration Blog Hop! Design Team members from all three companies are sharing inspiration using products from all three companies.
I have created TWO cards today, both using products from ALL THREE companies! This was a fun challenge, and I hope you enjoy!
CARD 1
For my first card, I first inked on the background using this stencil from Maker Forte and all their beautiful neon inks in the following colors: Roller Skates, Rah Rah Skirt, Outrageous, California Love, Limewired, Acid Wash, and Purple Rain. These are quickly becoming my favorite inks to blend!
I then colored up the Bear from Sugar Pea Designs, and the parrots from Heffy Doodle. I popped the images up with foam tape and stamped on the sentiment from another Sugar Pea Designs stamp set.
I stamped a few of the ink splotches on its matching color and matted the panel on a rainbow paper background.
CARD 2
For the second card, I used the same BEAR from Sugar Pea Designs, but this time I colored him up as a polar bear.
The surf board is from Maker Forte, and I stamped it & masked it off with the coordinating stencil (oh yes…this stencil comes with a mask!) before adding the bear so it would look like the bear was behind it. I then masked off the bear and inked on the lemons from a layering stencil from Maker Forte.
The crab images and the sentiment are from Heffy Doodle. And that’s it! Two cards using all three companies! I think they work pretty well together, what do you think?
If you are interested in more details, I have a video showing you just how to put these together easy! Watch it below or in HD on YouTube:

Hello! Today I have a couple very bright and happy cards for you! These are using products from the new release from Maker Forte…and they are some of my favorites yet!!
These are both cards made with the new set called Take A Sip, and they are designed by my friend Jessica Francisco! The set includes some ADORABLE images of shakes, lemonades, and sodas….and I even think there’s a margarita in there. They are so fun to color, too!
I paired it with a coordinating sentiment set that has all kinds of punny sayings you can use on your cards.
Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube to get all the details of how to make that background and my favorites to color in the images:
I made a second card, too because I had soooo many images I colored!
